How this all started?

I am in the midst of a mid-life crisis (so I thought!). I don't really know what to do. Everything that I have been working on practically not working. I am not happy and disappointed with myself.

I need a channel to let this all out. I love to write. But I don't have the time to write. I just need to do something. To satisfy this disappointment that couldn't be expressed. Let alone shared.

I have been thinking of what to write. To actually do something 'just because' I want to do it. Something that didn't expect money in return. Something that I would do without expecting some kind of monetary gain at the end... just something...

So I basically start thinking of what I actually like. Something that I like since my childhood. Something that touches my heart. Something that keep my mind thinking. And wondering...

When I was young, I love to see old buildings, whether occupied or empty. I love to imagine what's going on inside. The life that people lead that is different from mine. It is just so mysterious.

My late father was an architectural draft man. He draws buildings and spaces. I find it fascinating. That's how (I think) I become interested to look at building façade. Being brought up in Kuala Lumpur had given me the advantage.I love to see old shop houses, colonial bungalows and just any types of urban decays.

So I thought, hey! That's what I like. And have always liked.

So I set-up this page to collect and share images of old buildings, urban decays and buildings believed to be haunted. Well, naturally, all old buildings are being related to some sort of haunting stories isn't it? I love that part too. But generally, I am not going to dig too deep into that, though I will touch on that if I have the information.

Guess that is all about it...basically some introduction about this site. Feel free to look around. And thank you.
